The Rev. M. Cristina Paglinauan

The Rev. M. Cristina Paglinauan is Associate Rector for Community Engagement at The Church of the Redeemer http://www.redeemerbaltimore.org/ , a vibrant, growing parish of 725 households in north Baltimore, where she has served since 2010. In her current role, she oversees Redeemer’s community partnerships and serves on the leadership team of Baltimoreans United In Leadership Development https://www.buildiaf.org/  and on the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland’s Congregational Vitality Team. A certified yoga instructor, Cristina introduced and leads yoga church at Redeemer.

Prior to becoming a priest, Cristina enjoyed a variety of life and work experiences, including managing a genetics research lab in Boston; serving as a public health intern on the Navajo Reservation; teaching in Baltimore, San Francisco and Estes Park, CO; and living in a monastery in Isreal where she coordinated an interfaith service- sailing trip for Jewish, Christian, and Muslim youth. 

Cristina is married to David Warner, a jazz and basketball enthusiast who chairs the history department at The St. Paul’s School for Girls in Brooklandville, MD; and is the mother of Grace (24), Ben (17), and the family cat named Olmsted. She and her family love being part of the All Saints by-the-Sea community and visiting Maine in the summer, including hiking and seeing nearby family and friends.
